The host was great. She met us at check-in and gave a tour and answered questions. We appreciated that. Good and quick communication throughout our stay. Comfortable, peaceful cottage. Shoreline was weedy due to the heatwaves but the kayaks brought us out to the gorgeous lake and we loved it there. The kids had a blast. Our dog was in paradise. We also visited the nearby Burleigh Falls and it was beautiful. We made lots of great memories!

The home itself it’s beautiful! The host was helpful and responsive. Everything you need is within a 5-10 minute drive. We were disappointed that the state of the lake was not communicated. We had informed the host that we had young kids and were interested in the swimming. While it was suggested to take the kayaks out to find good swimming spots, we didn’t know that we would be required to take kayaks out any time we wanted to swim. The lake is full of weeds and engulfed with lilly pads. The home and property are beautiful, new, clean and equipped with anything you would need. We ended up taking daily trips to the close by beach. Just wasn’t what we had envisioned for our family vacation. We didn’t want to pack up and leave every day. Beautiful property, but probably more of a fall or winter destination!
