Chalet Face à la Pointe Percée

Set in an exceptional natural setting, at the foot of Pic du Jalouvre (2,406 m) and facing the Aravis Range (Pointe Percée: 2,752 m), my all-wood chalet faces due south.
It is located at an elevation of 1,400 meters, at the top of Chinaillon, facing the ski slopes.

The accommodation
All on one level:
Entrance (with shoe closet).
A bathroom with a bathtub and sink.
A separate toilet.
A shower room (with shower, sink, toilet, washing machine, ironing board, and iron).
Fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge-freezer, stove, and microwave, dishwasher, food processor, drip and espresso coffee makers, raclette, fondue, and stone grill sets.
The kitchen and both bathrooms were completely renovated in 2017.
Double living/dining room with a fireplace and a south-facing balcony (with a table, outdoor chairs, and a plancha grill: seats up to 8 people); mini DVD player, television (satellite reception of French channels).
One bedroom with a 140-cm double bed
One bedroom with a 160-cm double bed (bottom sheet provided).
Upstairs:
One large bedroom with 3 beds (including 2 twin beds that can be pushed together)
3 bedrooms under the sloped ceiling (ceiling height ranging from 1.50 meters to 1 meter), each with 2 sleeping spaces (one of the rooms under the sloped ceiling is not a separate room; it is accessed from the bedroom with 3 beds)
There is a high chair, a changing pad, a fold-out bed, a stroller, and a baby carrier.

Guest access
The rental includes the first floor and the upper floor (but not the basement or its terrace, which is permanently occupied by the person managing the rental on-site);
The two sections have separate entrances and are independent and well soundproofed from one another: however, to ensure the peace and quiet of the couple living on the floor below, I ask that you avoid playing music too loudly or raising your voices after 11 p.m., and I no longer wish to rent the property for bachelor or bachelorette parties.
Parking is available on the street in front of the chalet: 4 parking spaces.

Shops:
There are various shops, restaurants, and a supermarket in Le Chinaillon (700 m from the chalet), as well as in Le Grand-Bornand (with more stores), and an Intermarché on the road between Thônes and Le Grand-Bornand (15 km away). Winter Sports:
Le Grand Bornand-Chinaillon is a medium-sized family-friendly resort in the Alps:
● 21 ski lifts, including 2 gondolas, 10 chairlifts, and 9 T-bar lifts (plus 3 snow ropes, 1 magic carpet, and 1 Tourniski in the beginner areas)
● 47 runs, including 5 black, 12 red, 15 blue, and 15 green
● 90 km of trails across 360 hectares, 3 competition venues, 4 beginner areas
● A snowpark ranked among the top 10 in France, featuring a half-pipe, boardercross, and 4 jump lines ● Artificial snow coverage provided by 146 snow guns, ensuring that 90 ha and 22 km of trails have snow coverage all season long.
● 70 km of cross-country ski trails (green, blue, red, and black) spread between the Grand Bornand valley and the southern slope at Chinaillon.

The nearest chairlift is across from the chalet: you’ll need to walk down three turns to get there (7-minute walk) or take the ski bus (a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes, stops near the chalet, and circles the lower slopes). The ski school is a little further away (8 to 10 min on foot); it’s best to take a car or the ski bus.
From Mont Lachat (2,100 m), accessible by chairlift, you can see Mont Blanc.
