Just minutes from the medieval market town of Saffron Walden - and less than half an hour from Cambridge - you’re blissfully removed from the world without being cut off from it.
Step inside and the barn announces itself immediately. Soaring vaulted ceilings flood the open-plan living space with light and air, while the warm palette of carefully chosen materials - quality fittings, rich textures, considered design - strikes that rare balance between rustic soul and contemporary comfort.
Sink into the deep sofa, light the wood burner, and let the evening take its time. The flat-screen TV is there if you want it, but you may find you don’t.

Beautifully located and appointed. Can't say enough about the host. We had a technical issue on the first evening and he came out at 11pm and fixed it. Followed up with a fine, local, artisan bread the following morning.Had a wonderful stay.Nigel and Angela
