A gorgeously restored 3 bedroom/1 bath mid-century brick home in the perfect location. Meet our rescued alpacas & llamas at the gate. Beyond the back gate is reserved for treehouse guests & their privacy. Tropical garden views, hear roosters crow on our working rescue farm! Granite kitchen, open floor plan, amazing location, designer/antiques, b&w bath, amazing beds/linens, thoughtful touches await you. On weekends, we offer reduced rate llama alpaca experience tours for $35 per person.
We understand that life happens. As a rescue farm, we hope that you understand the necessity to uphold our cancellation policy. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers your loss from last-minute cancellations (due to theft, medical/health issues, weather, etc.)
Our mid-century cottage is spacious and restored with loads architectural antiques and antique furniture. Think Chip & Joanna with luxurious bedding, amazing memory foam mattresses, and comfy spaces for lounging and watching our herd of llamas and alpacas roaming back behind the home. We are a working farm, so you’ll hear roosters and see the llamas and alpacas at the gate. Please don’t go beyond the gates as that space is reserved for treehouse guests
Our cottage boasts three bedrooms and 1 bath, a South facing porch, and a beautiful granite/stainless chef's kitchen. We are in City of Atlanta, just a 15-minute Uber ride to the airport and 7 miles from the attractions of downtown (Aquarium/ Coca-Cola). East Atlanta Village is a vibrant, eclectic area just 1.5 miles away with tons of tasty eateries, bars, and shoppes.
But, when you're out in the back of the cottage, you'll overlook our secret garden complete with canna lillies, banana tree, hostas, ferns, plus the gorgeous barns, llamas and alpacas (over the fence) and bamboo forest in the distance. (Behind the fence is the private area for our treehouse guests). We are sited on over an acre of land, which is unique and lovely for the city. We always say that we are city out front and country out back.
But enough about the location and the setting. The inside of the home has been thoughtfully and mindfully decorated with original oil paintings and art, memory foam mattresses, high thread count sheets and comforters, beautiful antiques, WiFi, flat screen tv with both Sling packages.
IMPORTANT!: The basement area is shared. Our handyman uses one side for his supplies and tools (not accessible to the upstairs). And our cleaners co-share the W/D for the treehouse. Guests can lock the basement door from the upstair. Let us know if you have questions.

We brought things to heat up and eat. The kitchen was very well set up for that. There are kitchen basics available to use. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We could see the llamas from our bedroom windows, so that was really cool!

We had a blast with the llovable llamas right in our backyard! Be sure to bring organic baby carrots to feed them. The cottage was clean and comfy. Our host Kara was caring and super-responsive. Llamazing experience!!

Turn your life into PERFECTION by taking a holiday stay in the Atlanta Llama Luxury Cottage. A home away from home. Oh My Goodness. Bliss everyday. Me and my son came from Australia to stay here. We found this place online and fast fell in love with the host Kara and all her beautiful fur baby's on the property. We knew we had to visit this place. Meeting Kara and seeing all her love for her animals was a special treat for us to witness. Both me and my son know 1 thing for sure. We will both be back again.Love you heaps.... Truong & Broni.1 more thing. Hey Figgy. My favourite Llama. My beautiful Llama. I will be back. I miss you sooooo much. Love you forever.

We loved staying in the cottage. It's conveniently located near the freeway, with enough room for a family to cook and spend time together. My sisters and I are obsessed with the llamas/alpacas, it was the highlight of our trip. Kara was a kind and generous host. And we are so happy that our stay supports their rescue farm. Highly recommend!
