    We had a wonderful stay on this beautiful island resort. The scenery is breathtaking, with stunning ocean views all around. It’s an excellent destination for families, especially those with children who enjoy water activities. One of the highlights was that snorkeling gear and kayaks were available free of charge, making it easy to explore the surrounding waters and enjoy the marine life. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area for improvement would be the dining options. Since there is only one restaurant on the island, the food selection can feel somewhat limited, and the prices are on the higher side. A wider variety of menu choices would enhance the overall experience. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family. We would happily visit again.

    Took a chance on the reviews. Wish I took them more seriously. Day 1 45 minutes to get bags. Discusting dinner buffet. Meat was like rubber . Continental breakfast was a joke. Only 3 cereals to choose from , 3 types of so called bread. Peanut butter and Vegemite served in a big jar so everyone’s dipping into it. So called orange juice was so sweet made of powder . First day ran out of coffee had to wait for it to come in. Day 2 ordered fish and chips and burger chips and salad only to be told chips ran out. Still would of charged us $25 Fj for each. Just gets worst. Day 3 rooms still weren’t cleaned . Told reception she was surprised. We r in hospitality couldn’t believe it. Asked to speak to manager that too took half hour after she knew there was complaints. Told her food is discusting , service is lousy, the POOL sides full of mould. Told her this is against international standards. Told her to speak to the chef . Forgot to say the night before s dinner was mix mashed into other meals for buffet lunch. Told her to pick up their act as everyone on the island was so disappointed and was going to give a bad review. Website says 4 restaurants but funny buffet was all you could eat . You had no choice, of course at $60 each it suited them. Day 3 food got better for what it was. In the morning we noticed the pool was closed after we complained. Wanted to use jet skis the 3 they had were broken. Decided to go to dive shop to get snorkels . I asked her for 2 clean sterilised mouth pieces she looked at me dumb founded. She said there coming in the afternoon. Next day went back of course none. Day 4 - woke up from heat in our room only to discover the power , & water was out. By then a group of us really had enough and demanded we get off the island. We still had 3 days to go and refused to pay for any food or drinks to cover our costs. We took next ferry out and found accommodation on mainland. Apparently the island was great when Australian owned it. Now owned by Fijians who have no idea. All I can say it’s a matter of time before it goes down . Maybe they need a Gordon Ramsey . And check your invoices !!

    Huge potential but disappointing. Accommodation basic and beds not comfortable, you could feel the springs. Tiles in room broken and badly repaired. Big leak in public area roof. Broken deck chairs and decks. The list goes on. Food pretty bad. If you still intend to do not get the meal plans. On advice we paid as we go. Best decision, even though the food was still pretty bad it was better to have more control over what you have. All the other guests we spoke to on plans were really unhappy. Equipment were pretty much non existent. 3 kayaks and one sank with a teen on it out at sea because it had a hole. Took 5 attempts to tell staff to put it away as it was unsafe. No life jackets provided. Not enough mask and snorkles. Flippers that broke using them. There were power cuts twice due to running out of fuel. These were for a few hours each. There was a school of teens who were bored out of their minds on the island. I could go on but you get the picture. Sad thing is one you can see the huge potential and the location is great. One person there said they were there years ago and it was really well catered for. Location fabulous as were the staff. Everything else a no go. Suggest try somewhere else. And book early.
