The White House Sohodol

The location is superb, on a hill topping Zărnești, with splendid views to the West on the Eastern side of the Northern half of the Prince's Stone (Piatra Craiului), the Carpathians' Queen. Beneath it, over the small road from Bran, there are some 150m of forest that then suddenly opens to the opposite splendid view to the East on the Western side of the Bucegi mountains, the highest in the region (over 2.500m high). Deers are coming in the early morning to feed on the grass of the property, followed by beautiful cows on the neighboring meadow. If you come in June-July, before the herbs are cut, it is full of marvelous flowers, including a mountain-type small orchid. The kitchen is industrially equipped: all 10 people who might be simultaneously housed may simultaneously cook! Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms have even bathtubs, and cleaning is perfectly performed daily. There is a nice living room and a terrace with a splendid view. Plasma TVs are everywhere, and the Wi-Fi signal is ok (4G). There are 4 private car parking places. The landlords (a British gentleman and his local lady), very friendly, are living in Bran, but come daily to assist you and supervise cleaning. Coffee is on the house, at will. There are only a couple of kilometers to this White House from the National Road from Brasov to Pitesti via Bran – Rucăr, near a roundabout surrounded by a lot of shops (Penny Market, Mega Image, KFC, etc.), where you can buy almost everything you need to enjoy a perfect stay. From there, you are at only about 10 km from Bran Castle. Do not hesitate to also visit the rest of the houses on this hill, at least up to where the road is modernized.

At the beginning of the road that leads to the White House from the National Road Brașov - Pitești, a few hundred meters are damaged by the rains and snow. Hopefully, the town will repair them soon. Then, beware that the road has some narrow portions, sometimes even without visibility: although there are no road signs on it, drive carefully at no more than 30km/h.

Отличное расположение, прекрасный вид с окна номера и двух террас. Огромная территория, есть мангал, большая проф кухня и вся техника которая может пригодиться. Магазин в пешей доступности есть, но далековато. Очень хорошее место с которого не хочется уезжать

Номер был с потрясающим видом из окна на горы . Было чисто и достаточно уютно.

Не было никого на месте , нам очень нужны были стаканы или нож , но к сожалению мы не могли даже это найти .

Proprietatea este situată într-o zonă extrem de liniștită, priveliștea de pe terasă este uimitoare iar curățenia este de nota 10. Bucătăria este foarte bine utilată. Gazda este foarte, foarte amabilă .
