Studio at FLAMINGA S PLACE

This is a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful small town on a beautiful island. Tania has three units next to a relatively large garden at the top of the town. Don't be put off by the fact that the entrance is at the back of a car park. It is super quiet and very private. You must like cats. Two would take any opportunity to hop inside my unit and make themselves at home (on the bed, in a chair, pretty much anywhere). I had one sit on my lap for an hour or so one cool morning. No complaints. The unit I stayed in had two twins pushed together next to a small kitchen. A small bathroom is at the rear. There is a space heater and a small vertical fan. Aside from the fridge, I didn't use the kitchen because there is a superb fish restaurant in town and an excellent sushi place just a few minutes drive away. Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. I found it perfect for two.

I can't think of much that could be improved. Walking up Pico led to a drenching so a line to hang wet clothes, even just for bathers, would have been useful. As it was, I used some outdoor furniture for this and Tania didn't seem to mind.

Der Garten und der Blick in den Garten aus dem Bett.. toller Ort für ein paar Tage Entspannung. Das Studio ist super gemütlich. Klein und einfach, aber wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Katzen kommen immer mal vorbei und sind neugierig, aber nicht aufdringlich. Der Garten wird von mehreren Gästen genutzt, aber es gibt auch mehrere Aufenthaltsbereiche, somit kann man in Kontakt kommen, muss aber nicht. Man ist total zentral, alles im Ort ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ganz unmittelbar in der Nähe ist ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein wahnsinnig guter Bäcker. Es wird ein Wäscheservice angeboten. Ich bin mit dem öffentlichen Bus von Madalena gekommen, die Station ist nur 250m zu laufen. Tania und ihre Familie sind super nett und immer ansprechbar. Vielleicht könnt ihr noch ein paar Liegestühle im Garten aufstellen? Die Matratze war ein bisschen weich für meinen Geschmack.
