The environment

Good quiet location. Big rooms.

Aircons do not cold. Need to run entire day to chill rooms. Room on the ground level has decent mould smell.

The aircons worked well, the beds were comfy and the closets in the rooms were nice and spacious. The owner was very friendly. We arrange with him for pickup at the airport and got stuck at passport control for 2 hours, quite late at night, and he was very patient and friendly. Even asked if we should stop on the way to the house to buy some groceries.

It doesn’t look like the pictures. It was not clean at all - it looks like the house hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. Everything is very worn out and dilapidated. Kitchen wasn’t properly stocked, and the kitchenware that was available is falling apart. There were lots of cockroaches. The cleaning lady supposedly came on of one our days there, but the only thing she did was wash the remainder of the dishes we hadn’t washed ourselves yet. She didn’t replace towels, throw out the dustbins, replace toilet paper (we ran out), properly make the beds or even just swept the floors..
