We liked the apartment’s location on a quiet side street – yet everything was within easy walking distance: the Valletta ferry, restaurants, and shops are all about 10–15 minutes away, and there’s even a small corner shop just a minute away (though it closes already at 9 PM). If you have a rental car, parking can sometimes be a bit tricky depending on the day or time, but with a few minutes of circling around (up to 10 min) you’ll always find a spot on the same or nearby street. The apartment is on the top floor, very quiet, and has a nice city view. It’s spacious and perfectly suitable for four people or two couples. We were five, and one of the children slept on the living room sofa – not exactly ideal for sleeping since it’s not flat, but kids can usually sleep anywhere and ours didn’t complain. The host might consider upgrading the sofa to something more suitable for sleeping if the apartment is offered for more than four guests. The appliances in the apartment, both in the kitchen and the laundry area, were excellent (except for the toaster that still didn’t work). The internet connection was also very good.
The mattresses are in desperate need of replacement – they are very DIRTY! The quality of the bed linen could also be improved; it was poor and the sets were mismatched – for example, the duvet was larger than the cover and kept bunching up. When trying to sleep, we were disturbed by mosquitoes (which we could luckily hear and manage to kill) and also by some tiny insects that bit us quite painfully on a few evenings (I sincerely hope they don’t live in the mattresses but rather came from outside). Don’t set your expectations too high based on the photos showing sun loungers on the balcony – the balcony faces east and only gets a few short moments of sunlight early in the morning. One curious thing was that the front door had a sign saying “keep this door closed all the time”, yet the door frame and lock were broken, so the door couldn’t be locked and anyone passing by could have simply pushed it open. I had read in other reviews that the toaster wasn’t working already back in June, and I can confirm that it still doesn’t work at the end of October. You could also mention some small details like the bathroom door lock cover constantly falling off – but that seems to reflect typical southern European construction quality rather than being the host’s fault. Guests coming from continental Europe would definitely be much happier if the apartment provided a few plug adapters from the British to the European standard – it would cost the host almost nothing but make a big difference for visitors.

Przestronny apartament z 2 sypialniami i salonem. Blisko do komunikacji miejskiej, plaży, obok mały sklep i z 300 m Lidl. Dobry transport z lotniska jednym autobusem. Pobyt uważamy za udany.
