Kotimaailma Aparthotel Villa Hortus - Turku

Sijainti oli minulle ok, avainten saaminen suht helppoa.

Pienet yksityiskohdat kuten rullaverhot, niistä ns narut irti niin hankala käyttää kun ei meinannut toimia ja irronnut naru sidottu verhotankoon? Netti aika ajoin ei oikein toiminut, suht usein meni verkko.

Great location in a quiet side street next to a small park but close to everything. The apartment is on the top floor with nice views from the windows. Turku Cathedral is two minutes away on foot; you can see the tower from the bedroom window. Shops, cafes etc are in close walking distance and so is the river. Turku market square and the city centre are a few minutes on foot. Collecting the keys was very easy.

It's not in the best condition. The toilet seat, for one, has only one screw left which naturally makes using it very uncomfortable. The apartment wasn't particularly clean, either, there was a ton of dust under the bed and the fridge was dirty. It looked like someone just changed the bed linen but left the rest as it was from the previous guest. The equipment is rudimentary. There is a filter coffee machine but no filters which makes is essentially useless as people usually don't carry those and, for a short stay, don't want to buy them, either. There are no hooks or anything that would allow you to hang your clothes onto. The only table is very small and rickety and half of its space is used for kitchen appliances. Cutlery and kitchen tools are stored in an office drawer cabinet. In summary, it's too expensive for the value.

A great place for a lonely traveller to stay for a few days. The location is great, in the middle of the historical area of the city, surrounded by greenery. The flat is tiny but extremely light and cosy. The windows face the backyard full of trees and birds singing, and a church in the background. The kitchen is tiny, but with all that is needed for a few days' stay, including all the required appliances and some basic utensils. The bed was comfy.

The front door of the building was a bit tricky to open, but it was only for the first time.

Läget utmärkt, i en lugn del av Åbo men ändå nära till allt. Priset exakt det rätta i förhållandet till kvalitén. Villa Hortus har nära till fina matställen: Fabbes Café (frukost/lunch, café), Trattoria Romana (bra italienskt), Delhi Darbar (indiskt), Kuori (vegetariskt), bara för att nämna några... Jag kommer att använda Villa Hortus igen. Rekommenderas!
