Ian's Homestay Tanah Rata C Highlands

The keys were kept in the mailbox which was password protected. The details of which were shared to us on whatsapp. We never met the hosts :-) But our check-in process was seamless. It is a house which was put on rent on Booking.com. Initially during checking-in, we were a little worried as this is an apartment which was a good 30-40 year old property. However it was pretty safe. The lift would stop only for those who have access, so any unknown person cannot have access. This property is good for big families like 8 people who would also want to cook their own food. There is a full fledged kitchen with all utensils.

There is nothing we did not like. That area initially looked a little old, clumsy. Also there were about 15-18 dogs on the street at night, but they would not trouble anyone. Also, inside the house and apartment, it was quite safe.

I recently stayed at Ian’s Homestay in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands, and it was a very pleasant experience. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. All instructions were clear, and communication was excellent from the start. The homestay itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. It has 3 bedrooms, with one of the rooms featuring an ensuite bathroom and 1 bathroom outside, which was very convenient. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the facilities were complete, including a functional kitchen, clean bathrooms, and reliable Wi-Fi. The unit felt homey and suitable for both families and groups. Overall, Ian’s Homestay offers great value for money, comfort, and convenience during a stay in the cool Cameron Highlands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay!

Homestay selesa , bersih , siap ade mainan untuk anak2 main , ada semua peralatan memasak , ada hairdryer , Ada banyak tilam extra , siap pakej sejadah dan telekung , Owner pun fast response. Senang berurusan , nanti boleh repeat lagi datang sini stay next time 🥰

Tv cuma ada siaran enjoy 😅 Expecting kalau ada smart tv sebab senang untuk anak2 tengok cartoon selain main mainan sahaja .

I only like the location. It is near the church and a steamboat outlet I love. Just walk down to enjoy at hot pot time steamboat. Steamboat owner is very friendly. Always full so have to reserve or be there early.

It is really a budget stay. The msg was a little scary that will affect our deposit. Cutleries left by previous tenant was not properly clean. It was very oily. Bed was not very comfortable and also can see that the sheets has debris on it. It was clean just I think the sheet was old already. Overall we just take it as a place to sleep.
