Kilimanjaro Lodge - MCF

The garden is beautiful and creates a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The mountain view can be difficult to see because of the clouds, so it’s better not to expect a clear view.

Unfortunately, when we came for breakfast at around 9:30, the buffet was already quite empty and was not replenished, which was disappointing. Overall, I found the stay a little expensive for what was offered, especially considering the condition of the rooms and the breakfast experience.

Das Frühstuck wurde in Form eines kleinen Buffets präsentiert. Die Auswahl war klein. Highlight waren die täglich wechselnden selbst gebackenen oder frittierten Cookies/Cakes. zB. Tanzania Sweet Balls. Beim Kellner konnte wahlweise klassische Omelette, spanische Omelette, Rührei oder Spiegelei geordert werden. Die Spanische Omelette hat mir besonders geschmeckt. Dass Personal war sehr freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Beatrice, die Rezeptionistin. Sie ist eine sehr nette und extrem hilfreiche Person.

Es wäre noch besser, wenn die Speisekarte 2-3 zusätzliche Speisen und Snacks offerieren würde.

The staff were absolutely lovely. The view of mount Kilimanjaro was stunning. The gardens and pool were great.

Great staff, great location, clean place, good security and a great view of the Kilimanjaro!

Booked a room and ended ip being given a tent to stay in. I guess this was because the place was fully booked due to the marathon, but in any case I booked a room and not a tent. Tents were good and comfortable but I guess when you book a room and end up sleeping in a tent for the same price it’s disappointing
