Your DC Stay

We stayed 2 nights here and had a pleasant experience overall. The house was as shown in the pictures on booking.com This property is situated in Deanwood area more closer to Deanwood metro station and also to Benning road metro. The Metrobus is 5 minutes walk away. You are 6 stations / 20 minutes away from all DC touristic areas. There's a police station in the vicinity, so the area is safe, organised and quiet. We didn't find any safety issues at all. The location was great, cute houses and their gardens. Our room was in the basement, there was a small fridge and Microwave, iron etc. There was small supply of crockery for basic food warming and eating. No utensils as there is no stove. There was a large TV, but we didnt explore the channels. The host was always accessible over the messenger, the door lock details were shared on time. In my understanding there is no full time caretaker or reception at the property. Initially we were told the house check in time would be 6pm, but then we discussed and brought it to convenient time. The house was clean, neat and well supplied. There was someone else living on upper floor, but there was no disturbance. The area is purely residential and you will find free car parking in front of the house.

In the immediate vicinity, there were no restaurants. There's a convenience store 5 minutes walk away and so is a alcohol shop. 7Eleven was also there about 10 minutes away towards Benning road. For a change, the shower nozzle had too much of water pressure and not a comfortable experience, Ibrahim assisted in replacing it, That was the only issue we had. There was no kitchen, so no cooking possible. No sink to clean up, you need to use bathroom wash basin.

A super clean apartment. Great little touches like a soft bed, good shower pressure, and a fan in the bedroom. The little kitchen is a convenience. The host answers texts right away.

Very comfortable, AC was nice and cold, parking was easy, the room was very nice and we had a very good experience. The owner was kind and helpful.

Honestly not a lot to complain about. It took us a minute to figure out how to open the door, but the owner was very quick to help :)

La ducha era grande, también se dispone de un salón-comedor. El precio muy razonable. La tele no tenía canales pero contaba con Amazon Prime. Se puede aparcar el coche en la calle sin problema

Para entrar hay que pasar por el jardín y como llegamos de noche y había un perro grande ladrando en casa de al lado, nos dio un poco de miedo. La habitación se encuentra bajando escaleras entonces no llega la luz del día. Hay armarios y cajoneras pero todo estaba lleno de cosas del propietario entonces no hay donde guardar tus pertenencias. La primera noche había un bicho grande debajo de la cama. El suelo no estaba limpio en general, había telarañas. Las almohadas no eran cómodas. Para un par de días está bien si buscas algo barato y no muy lejos del centro pero podrían mejorar el tema de limpieza
