Amaroo 44

Amaroo 44 is a nice 3 bedroom apartment, on the 4th floor, accessed by a small lift in an old building. It has its own separate private good sized single garage with automatic tilt-a-door. The apartment is within good walking distance to most waterfront areas, the main town of Tuncurry and a Woolworth’s supermarket. The apartment has one and a half bathrooms, including a washing machine & dryer. There’s good sized kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. The small narrow balcony features a gas BBQ. The apartment would be more appreciated, if attention was given to adequate heating for the cold winter months so as to heat it to a cosy comfortable level. The one column heater was definitely insufficient. The bamboo and steel dining room chairs were very uncomfortable as was the very low to the ground lounge and swivel chair. So low that it was hard to stand from ones sitting position. Although comfortable, the main bed was higher than a regular queen bed. When sitting on the bed feet hang over the bed instead of touching the floor. Shorter people have trouble tackling the extra height. All beds were higher than regular beds. They most likely wouldn’t be suitable or safe for young children or elderly, especially with knee replacements. It was understandable that one of the 2 large sliding doors, leading to the very narrow balcony, was under repair and not useable, but some sort of privacy covering would have been appreciated. The apartment was clean and tidy.
