Luxury 1 Bed Room Suite

This is a modern clean simple ensuite apartment with panoramic city views of Boralesgamuwa, an outer district of Colombo. It has an outdoor dining area as well as two private balconies. There is abundant natural sunlight 🌞inside behind the floor to ceiling windows and on the two private balconies and communal balcony dinning area. Do much so that you could get a sunburn if you really tried. There are also floor to ceiling curtains. You can see the sun rise and set. There is a communal washing machine available. The staff were very helpful and considerate. They also spoke very good English. I suspect that they would likely do your laundry for you on request for a fee or help you find a local business if required. There is also a basic kitchenette if you need to quickly clean anything before packing and leaving Both a lift or stairs are options for room access. There is space available that could easily fit a scooter 🛴, Tuk Tuk 🛺 or small vehicle 🚗. There are many local shops, ATMs, medical clinics and pharmacies and temples all within walking distance. However given the natural light and outdoor areas it was often easier to get food delivered 🚚 via PickMe (The Sri Lankan equivalent of Uber / Maxim). The apartment complex has fast WiFi throughout. It has both hot water and air-conditioning. Hot water is less common in tropical countries. On balance it is probably closer to a 9.5 than a 10. Also different apartments have different views based on orientation and different sizes and layouts. My apartment faced south east and the communal balcony, south west.

Some future improvements could include: 1. Potentially additional bench space or a desk or both. Often the dinning table just becomes an inbox and an outbox at the same time and things get jumbled more easily. 2. Mosquito mesh or wire over the bathroom window. There are almost no mosquitoes up high. But mess is often cheap. The bathroom door can be closed in the unlikely event of mosquitoes anyway.
