About this house rental
Quiet country cottage located just east of Bonne Terre. If your looking for a calm peaceful experience this place is for you. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the front porch looking out over scenic farm land or a quiet evening around the fire pit while watching the star studded skyline. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic spices, baking ingredients, cooking utensils and dinner ware. If you prefer grilling there is a pellet grill ready for your seasoned steaks. Bath includes large walk in shower and all essential toiletries. Bedroom is furnished with queen size bed and smart TV. Living room has a queen size sofa bed, electric fireplace, smart TV and fast reliable WiFi. Property is located within 20 minutes of local wine country, beautiful hiking trails, petting zoo with exotic animals, family fun center, space museum featuring actual items from NASA and the world renown Bonne Terre mine featuring a billion gallon underwater lake. Very neat little home, perfect for a weekend getaway. It had everything we needed. The owner brought us muffins when we arrived & my husband is supposed to be getting the recipe from her. We took a leisurely walk down the lane the 1st night. It was so peaceful. It's about 10-15 minutes from anything you need. Only downsides: 1) owner's house is directly behind, which was no big deal. Just unexpected. 2) There were 3 plug-in air fresheners that were very overpowering. I'm highly allergic & also have chronic migraines where smells are a trigger. So, we just unplugged them all & put in the laundry room. I would recommend not putting them back or getting some that aren't as powerful bc there are so many people triggered by perfumey smells.I would definitely stay here again. I absolutely loved it.

Lovely little set up. Nice to have a washer/dryer on site. Appreciated a full kitchen and the outdoor grill.

I only spent a few hours sleeping there but it was very clean, inviting and Sharon was qickly available when i forgot the pass code. I will be back.
