Casa Sottovento — Italian for "leeward" — means sheltered, protected, on the peaceful side of the mountain. That's exactly what this luxury home is: a refuge from the noise, designed for those who want the world-class adventure of Park City without sacrificing an ounce of calm.
Perched at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the exclusive Skyridge Mountain Community, Casa Sottovento is a custom luxury home where Scandinavian simplicity meets Japanese warmth — all framed by sweeping, 360° views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Wasatch Range.
The Space
Five bedrooms. Five and a half baths. Room for fourteen. And yet, somehow, it never feels crowded — because every inch of this home was designed with intention.
Step inside and you're greeted by expansive open living spaces flooded with natural light, anchored by an inspiring art collection and finished with timeless materials: hand-laid stone, warm stucco, and rare Brazilian Ipe wood siding. Two indoor fireplaces and four outdoor decks blur the line between inside and out.
The gourmet kitchen is a gathering place unto itself — double islands, a butler's pantry, a built-in coffee station, and a wine fridge, ready for everything from a lazy Sunday breakfast to a full group dinner. Our stay at this rental home in Park City was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. The home was thoughtfully designed, with luxurious touches that made our stay extra comfortable—weighted blankets, plush furnishings, and high-end finishes throughout. The heated floors were heavenly! It truly felt like a five-star retreat.One standout feature was how accommodating and responsive the host was. Rebecca was just a text away at any hour to address any question. Her attentiveness and quick action always made us feel so well cared for.The location was ideal—close to everything we needed in Park City, yet tucked away enough to feel private and serene. The home had all the amenities we could have asked for, from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy fireplaces that made the evenings feel magical.We had a last-minute need for a later checkout, and they graciously accommodated us, which gave us much-needed extra time to wrap up our trip smoothly. We truly appreciated their flexibility. We can’t recommend this property enough! If you’re looking for a hassle-free, luxurious stay in Park City with a host who goes above and beyond, this is the place to book. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This house is new, so everything was really nice. The house was spacious, comfortable, with fireplaces, a movie room, two hot tubs, a sauna. It also had a huge kitchen with everything we needed. It was close to everything we wanted to do in Park City and we also explored Midway and the Wastach mountains. We want to rent again for ski season!
