Air-conditioned lockable ensuite room in modern space with shared kitchen Fast WIFI

A major advantage of this accommodation is its price and location. It’s just a stone’s throw from Kings Cross, where the subway from Heathrow Airport stops. I enjoyed pleasant walks to the Barbican, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and further into the city center. The accommodation is located near the beautiful Regent’s Canal. Other highlights include the very kind, communicative, and friendly owner, good public transportation access, reliable free Wi-Fi, easy access to the building, and plenty of food shops in the area. By London standards, this accommodation offers excellent value for money. It’s a rather basic room for someone who wants to spend their time exploring London’s hidden corners and doesn’t mind a few minor imperfections.

If I were to suggest any improvements, the room might benefit from gradually replacing the older furnishings with newer ones. The wardrobe, in particular, has seen better days, and although it still serves its purpose, it might be time to retire it. The same goes for the duvet and duvet cover—everything was clean and freshly laundered, but at first glance, it looked a bit worn. I also chose not to use the window closing mechanism because it was very stiff, and I was afraid of damaging it. The weather was warm, so it was enough to just leave the window open, but in the winter, there could potentially be a problem with closing the window tight. The street outside the window is quite busy even at night, so if you want to sleep with the window open, don't forget your earplugs.

Matched what was expected and well kept. Good bed and slept well. Great facilities nearby.

The toilet is not ensuite but is right next to the room and doesn't seem to be shared.

Great location, comfortable bed, host was very easy to communicate with. There are shared facilities available but I didn’t really make use of them. The separate toilet is not an issue not used by anyone else. Felt very safe.

Strange smell in the bathroom. TV didn’t work I think you can programme it to work but I wasn’t able to. I didn’t ask the host to be fair.
