House was clean & well laid out. Comfortable bed.
As extensive travellers, the house felt a bit unwelcoming with lots of unavailable spaces - locked cupboards, closed bedrooms and signage not to use. It was originally suggested the garage was also not available. As the primary reasons we chose this property were the garage (which was not noted as excluded) and advertised fireplace (internal not available) we were therefore somewhat disappointed.
Probably didn't help that owner firstly accidently cancelled our booking then when reinstated confused the days so the house was not ready when we arrived despite advising time of arrival. Hopefully these issues are a learning curve and will not be repeated.
