The view was spectacular, especially in the evening. The accommodations were perfect for me, traveling alone. Quiet, my own little private space on the lake (several sets of steps up from it). Kitchen amenities were very good. Even some Folgers ground coffee in the cabinet!
Though the washer/dryer was operational, owners made clear that guests should not use them "because of old pipes." As I had just completed a wet week with youth at a nearby conference, it would have really been great to run a load of laundry. Also, there were LOTS of steps up to the cottage -- especially tough carrying luggage. And there are TWO cottages when you reach the top. Be sure you have the right one or you'll spend 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get in.

Location is very nice, house is very comfortable.
The washing machine was there but it was not allowed for the guests to use it. I think this aspect could be improved.
