This apartment was our longest stay on our nine week trip. We spent 4 nights in Martina Franca and loved the city so much. the location of the apartment was pretty good. It was in a neighbourhool, which we enjoyed as it was fairly quiet. The space was good for us and we were able to prepare a few meals. The washer was so convenient and very appreciated due to our long trip and only carry on luggage. There is only the door for light and air circulation therefore, the apartment was damp and with my sensitive nose musty smelling. We found a dehumidifier and had it on high every day. It worked well. My recommendation to the host would be to keep it running all the time to eliminate the mold issue around the apartment. It wasn't growing mold, but you could see where it had been washed away and starting to build up a little in the bathroom and in a few spots in the apartment. NOTE! The hosts were absolutely lovely. We had a few issues with power and then the water heater needed some repair work. They were right on it and resolved the problems. They left us alovely gift which we were unable to take because we were flying after Martina Franca and had no room for liquids and extra weight in our carry on. The host even drove us to the train station. They were very lovely.

For the money it’s reasonable value. It was spacious and had sone character. The owner was very responsive when we had an issue.
It was a bit basic. Walking the Cammino Materano we wanted to wash and dry clothes. The machine was fine but there was nowhere to hang the wet clothes and the room felt a bit damp (and was dark). The electrics looked a bit dodgy.

The property was extremely cleaned and well kept. We were welcomed by the host, who was very helpful, even gave us a good recommendation where to eat. The beds were very comfortable. The location is really good as it is close to the main square. We had no trouble finding parking spaces in streets nearby.
The shower might be difficult for very tall people. Everything else was perfect.
