Lake House

What really surprised us when we arrived at the Lake House was that it looked even better than in the pictures! Everything was completely new, with a great sofa, a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bedroom. The terrace has one of the most beautiful views we had during our trip through Bosnia. The incredible green colour of the lake is simply stunning, and the whole place is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The owner came to pick us up and showed us the way to the house. He welcomed us with homemade rakija and even brought us tomatoes and cucumbers from his own garden. We really felt like privileged guests! A beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by nature – perfect for a relaxing stay.

The only thing worth mentioning is the road down to the Lake House. At one point it gets quite rough, so you need to drive slowly and carefully. There is also one bend where part of the road is damaged and can be difficult to see because of the grass, so take your time and stay towards the middle of the road. But once you arrive, you immediately forget about the drive – the place is absolutely worth it!

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt und können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist einfach traumhaft, der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und die absolute Ruhe sorgt für pure Erholung. Eigentlich gibt es keinen Grund, das Grundstück überhaupt zu verlassen, weil man sich dort so wohlfühlt. Die letzten 200–300 Meter der Zufahrt führen über einen Straßenabschnitt, der durch das große Unwetter damals beschädigt wurde. Dadurch ist der Weg etwas holprig, aber machbar. Spätestens wenn man ankommt, ist das jedoch völlig vergessen; man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber. Wir haben selten eine so herzliche und außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Sie sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und tun wirklich alles dafür, dass es ihren Gästen an nichts fehlt und der Aufenthalt perfekt wird. Ein weiteres Highlight war der Garten, aus dem wir uns sogar frisches Gemüse und Erdbeeren nehmen durften; eine liebevolle Geste, die den Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht hat. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Zeit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
