Location was perfect, close to local food markets and an abundance of cafes and shops on the doorstep, having an outside space to sit in the evening was wonderful, area quiet at night and easy to get to the old town and the main shopping thoroughfare for shops such as Zara, Sketchers, Elena Miro, Bulgari etc - quite a selection.

The apartment was really great – very clean, bright, and spacious. Everything was well thought out and you can tell a lot of care has been put into it. It had everything we needed and more. We travel quite a lot, and this place definitely stands out for how comfortable and well-prepared it is for guests. The host welcomed us personally and was very kind and helpful. Communication was easy, fast, and clear. The location is also very convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back again!

Bari is an interesting historic city, well worth a visit. The quiet apartment with a sunny courtyard is in an excellent location within a short walk of the shops and restaurants, the beach, the train and bus stations. It was easy to access unique places nearby like Alberobello and Matera, as well as small coastal towns like Monopoli and Polignano a Mare.

I wish I'd realised that the ferry from Bari goes to Dubrovnik and Corfu. I may have taken advantage of that.

Angelo was a superb host. He was so friendly and helpful. He spent time going through his pristine apartment explaining everything, which by the way is fully functional and has everything you might need for your stay. The area is safe and quiet and as a solo F traveller was able to connect to various streaming services like Netflix for the evening - WiFi- superb. I took the train from Rome 4.5 hrs and the apartment is only 8- 10mins walk from Bari Centrali. The centre of Bari and nearby amenities can all be reached in minutes. It’s a great base near the station to visit surrounding areas. Recommend places to visit on the same train line: Lecce, Fasano and Ostuni - Monopli also quite lovely. I felt like I was in my own home. All new, comfortable, big spaces and utilities. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
