SarajevoScape Apartment in the Heart of Sarajevo

Extremely spacious apartment close to the centre of Sarajevo. We had fantastic communication with the hosts prior to arrival and we were met by the hosts outside of building who were very polite and friendly. We were offered a transfer from the airport for a very good price, but as we were arriving on two different flights, we decided to use the public transport. However, in hindsight we wished we opted for the transfer option as it was half the price of a taxi and we found the public transport quite challenging as there was little information, reduced timetable on the weekend which was not reflected online. Easily walkable to the old town, only takes 5-10 minutes, and there are fantastic restaurants in the old centre which are also very well priced. However, the building is not on a main road so it is very quiet and peaceful. It is also very close to the cable car entrance to go up to the viewing point and bobsleigh track. The apartment itself is huge and well divided and you can easily close the doors to have some more privacy. We found the beds and sofa very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Very useful to have two toilets.

Just be aware that the building is on a slight hill and there some stairs to manage, and although there is a lift in the building, the apartment is on the half floor so you would still need to use the stairs.

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. The location is good. Walking distance to the Old Town, and nearby the public bus (103) to the area of the airport. The local brewery with its restaurant is across the street. We had three bedrooms.
