Argus 4-Bed Haven, Contractor, Families, Industrial Area

The house was very clean and well supplied! Close to a corner shop. All the bedrooms and rooms were tidy and spacious. Space for catering to 12 people.

There was a park right opposite the house which was brilliant for the kids. The house is lovely and well decorated. It has what it needs for a short break. Was close to shops and short drive to where we were going for the weekend.

The house was nice but could have been slightly cleaner, there was a hair dangling from one of the radiators and some skirting boards hadn't been hoovered as a minimum. The layout is good but for the amount of people it can sleep was quite tight.

We stayed we a friend and there family so a total of 4 adults and 6 children. It was a lovely home from home experience it was spacious clean and had everything ud need to make a stay comfortable. The children had plenty of space to play the bedrooms were set out lovely with plenty of beds and was comfy enough with lovely bedding. There was lots of space for everyone to eat at the table lovely kitchen appliances to make yourself food and drinks. We only stayed the one night but had we have been there longer there was even a washing machine which would have come in very handy having children. All in all it was a lovely stay.

Personally for me going with children having cream carpets isn't ideal although we took our shoes of I was still worried Incase they damaged the carpets in anyway (you know what kids are like with sticky hands) and they collected bits so bad and although we cleaned up after ourselfs being 10 of us from top to bottom there was bits straight away top to bottom (we did hover top to bottom as we left) but having a carpet that colour carpet isn't ideal. The safety deposit of £250 although I understand why it's collected Incase of damages when booking the property it's was outlined that it needed paying straight away it stated that if damages occured that we could be liable (fair enough) wasn't until I went into the emails that it then stated the booking wouldn't be completely confirmed until it was paid which I think is a bit unfair to do after already taking over £400 for one night although yes I got that back it was unclear and I don't think I'd have booked the property knowing I had to pay over £600 straight out although yes id always pay for any damages caused as that's the correct thing to do I think the way it was stated and then went about was not done in the correct way. It wouldn't ever put me of coming again because it's a lovely house but I do think it needs to be set out so people are aware that it's not a case of you may have to pay it but that you do have to pay it and that although you dont personally take it that the bank holds it into pending until you release it it's still £250 that's gonna come out of your bank and for some people thats a lot of money to come out even if it is going back in.
