Luxurious room in Fall River Stay

It was in an historic building/location. To the two venues we were going to. The apartment was nice. The owner was nice and responded promptly.

The neighborhood was a little sketchy and the outside security door broken. The fire alarm batteries needed replacing and rang the entire time. There were a lot of very steep stairs that you should be warned about. Could have been a little cleaner but we were early and they were hurrying.

Nothing special!

The property owner refused a slightly later check-in by just three hours and was unresponsive to my calls and messages. At the last minute, they switched the property I booked. I paid for a “luxurious bedroom,” but the room I got was far from luxurious. It had a small, dirty bathroom with old shower curtains, a noisy heater that barely worked, and no initial Wi-Fi details provided. I had to figure out the network name myself, and the password was only sent the next day after multiple messages. This lack of communication and uncertainty disrupted my peace of mind during the trip. Booking was helpful in trying to contact the owner and resolve the issues, which wasn’t their fault.

The apartment was comfortable, as was our room. The bed was great. We loved being able to wash our clothes without having to deal with a laundry mat. Be aware that all the dishes are breakable. Hopefully the owner follows through quickly with a stop stool, as they happily agreed, because at 5' 2" I was unable to reach most of them. Very courteous service!

The apartment where the rooms are located is up 4 flights of rather steep flights of steps, and the best parking is a small lot is almost a block away if nothing is available closer on the street. .
