The location was wonderful! The beach was right in the backyard. The property was convenient for getting anywhere around the island; lots of fun shopping and stores for necessities nearby. The hosts were wonderfully communicative and accommodating. They gave specific, detailed suggestions that were very helpful. The layout was great and beds were comfortable.

We liked everything! I would just note that the place could use some updating, but nothing that really detracted from our experience.

Oceanfront, sprawling grounds

The location was fantastic. Walking out of the patio correctly into the ocean. It is a beautiful setting. Close to shopping and then activities to do at the resort.

We really enjoyed the location being on the ground level at the far south end of the property, especially because it was close to the bike path and made access very easy. The activities offered on the property were great for the whole family, and everyone had a lot of fun with the games and pool activities. The room was also well equipped with many of the household items we regularly use at home, including a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. We appreciated that a variety of soaps and cleaning supplies were provided as well, even though we brought our own laundry supplies. The staff in red were wonderful—very attentive to the surrounding area, vigilant about the homeless traffic nearby, and clearly committed to maintaining the property and parking lot. We truly appreciated them and were happy to gift them and bring a few smiles to their faces.

There were a few things that were less ideal during our stay. Because the unit was at the far south end of the property, there was quite a bit of homeless traffic nearby, which was noticeable. My boys also did not enjoy the twin beds in the second bedroom, though both are over six feet tall and haven’t slept in twin beds since elementary school, so they were understandably uncomfortable. We were unable to get the cable to work on the TV in the main bedroom, although it didn’t affect us too much since we didn’t spend much time watching TV. We were also disappointed to find sugar ants on the counters, in some of our bags, and trailing near food dishes while serving dinner. In addition, the kitchen sink faucet was loose and made it difficult to completely turn the water off.
