It was a great house on the water, we had so much room and loved that everything was on the top floor with a nice view.

The location and views from this place are unforgettable. The weather was good enough to take out their kayaks daily. The sauna was a nice touch. We dropped crab pots using the kayaks. Spent our evenings by the outdoor fire pit on the bay. Every sunset was dreamy. The house was comfortable. The kitchen cookware was high quality. The mini gym was used every morning. A nice find.

Good: Location on bay front is beautiful Kitchen spacious and well equipped for 6 adults. Lots of pots and serving dishes. Bathrooms updated and nice Space for the whole family to spread out, gather or have personal space. Card room, air hockey and foosball and games available. Kayaks a plus! We enjoyed ourselves overall but wouldn’t stay again. PRICE - a house for same price of 3 hotel rooms. Not so Good: Beds were worn and sunken in Couch uncomfy. Furniture in TV area could be better arranged. While kitchen, bathrooms and beddings were WELL cleaned the rest of the space felt neglected. Floors were uneven so the foosball table was tricky to play. We had to keep readjusting the cardboard and fire starter blocks under the legs. Eventually we gave up. Would've been nice if it was set and leveled more permanently. Pizza paddle was stored paddle side down alongside the broom… The MANUAL Combination key holder at the door was flap open with keys exposed upon our arrival - The entrance/exit door that can be locked is in the back of the house. Would’ve been great if a lock was installed on the sliding door that’s the front door by location. Bad and Very Questionable: A good portion of the downstairs of the house is marked Private. And thru the uncovered windows it looks very much like someone lives there. There are personal things on shelves and items left like someone stepped out. If that’s the case it should be disclosed. There are 4 doors total that have access to the outside. 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. 2 of the doors marked “PRIVATE” lock to keep guests out. BUT there is NO LOCK on the GUEST side to lock others out. Those 2 doors marked PRIVATE were open upon our arrival. So I DID enter it to see what was on the other side. Had I not been able to see what was on the other side of the door it would’ve been a deal breaker. We didn’t SEE anyone there. Given the things we saw thru the windows and windows on the doors…someone could’ve easily been going in and out quietly without us knowing. And it just had a very weird, uncomfortable vibe.. We decided not to CANCEL our stay. My oldest son felt it was safe enough to sleep in the downstairs room with the doors unable to lock out the private/other side after seeing it was a hallway on the other side. Maybe? Tell guests what the deal is w the downstairs. Put locks on our side of the doors. If we were told someone lives there between guests - woulda been a whole different story.
