Host was very helpful answered my questions, allowed to bring boat along. It was July 4 th weekend, there at the boathouse the water was 4 feet deep, plenty for our swimmers and to park boat at dock. At the boathouse there is an attached deck for those working on tans. If the goal is to spend some needed relaxing and playtime at the river, this rental is recommended. 10 minutes or less to boat ramp off Hwy 72 in Rogersville, 20 minutes to Athens.
