Stayed here while grandson played baseball in Cooperstown and it was perfect location. Very quiet and isolated, a very nice place to relax, everything you need is on hand and in working condition with no problems. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Everything was top shelf, and extremely thoughtfully stocked.. from the appliances, to the dishes, to an extra roll of toilet paper, flashlights, coffee and a welcome gift. The bed was SUPER comfy and the yard was plenty of space to play. Relaxing by the fire pit in the comfy chairs. They even provided blankets for sitting around the fire pit and toys for the pups if you are lucky enough to bring yours on vacation with you. It would have been nice to have brighter lights in the kitchen at night, but we used the flashlight when needed to read instructions. I hate that we were so busy that we didn’t get to spend much time enjoying the relaxing cabin. We did make time for a nature walk and grilled out a night or two. The bedding was super comfy and the cabin was very clean. The hosts were attentive to any questions we had. We were here for baseball, so we did have to go to the laundromat down the way, but that was so close it was not a big deal. Anyone coming for All Star Village in Cooperstown, I definitely recommend this well kept secret! 5 star rating all the way and then more! Amazing Hosts!!!

First of all, this cabin has EVERYTHING you can think you might need. Mike and Debbie have thought of it all. The space is very true to photos, and honestly, even better in person. They had left a little welcoming pack for us and our fur baby. The property is well maintained and our hosts were very quick to respond to any question that came up - although with their welcome book - there wasn’t much left to ask. We found plenty to do in the area that was dog friendly which was another HUGE plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Simply put, Cardinal Pines accommodations, location & beyond dog friendly policy are extraordinary.
Foremost, the Dinardo’s are exceptional hosts, highly responsive and gracious.
The serene environment is an opportunity to engage deeply with nature, with exciting flora and fauna around the property.
The cabin’s rural location, Adirondack design, robust exterior visual & sound security, high end cookware & comfortable furniture ensure a relaxing, restorative holiday break, with every season offering glorious landscapes. I honestly could have spent the entire time on the porch swing.
Worth noting since 2021, I have travelled with my dog more than 30 times, staying in hotels, inns, Airbnb’s & VRBOs. Every property demonstrates varying degrees of “dog friendly,” from barely tolerant to accepting with a pricey fee per night. By contrast, the Dinardo’s embrace dogs, providing bowls, toys, blankets to cover furniture, even towels to wipe their feet. Recognizing dogs as fellow travelers, not simply income generating nuisances, was deeply appreciated. As a responsible dog guardian, that respect and trust is a valued guest amenity. I hope subsequent guests ensure these benevolent gestures continue.
Weaver’s (open currently Wednesday-Sat) is a wonderful Amish store, sells a wide selection of local meats, vegetables, baked goods, crafts & additional provisions.
In sum, Cardinal Pines is highly recommended, and I will absolutely return!
