This was such a perfect getaway for me and my husband. It was so quiet and peaceful and relaxing. The picture’s in the post do not do this place any justice it’s actually a lot better in person. The king size bed in the master was so comfortable and the sheets felt amazing. My husband and I loved the water pressure in the master bathroom. It felt so good to come in from a long day on the river and stand there and enjoy the heat and pressure from the shower. We stayed four days. Our grandkids came and stayed with us for a night they loved playing on the kayaks. We also brought our own boat, and it was so nice to get up every morning and just walk out onto our boat and go down the river The owners were so helpful when it came to questions about docking our boat, and also they promised to deal with some concerns that we had. The house was well-stocked with plenty of towels and wash rags, paper towels, and garbage bags. Plenty of dishes and silverware in the kitchen. The only problem we had was the pots and pans were a little outdated but we addressed the issue with the owners and they had no problem addressing our concerns. We brought our lab with us and he enjoyed playing in the water with the kids and hanging out by the fire pit with the whole family while making s’more’s. We were very excited to see that the owners had firewood cut up for us to enjoy in the fire pit. That was a big plus for us because everywhere else we have stayed we’ve had to bring our own firewood.The location is very conveniently, located to shops, restaurants and a Lot of downtown activities but still quietly tucked away down by the river and nature. We seen a lot of wildlife while we stayed here like Ducks, Geese, Turtles but not as many alligators as we thought we would see, THANK GOD! 😅 We’d love to come back again next year and stay even longer.
