Honestly it was fine and I see why a lot of people like this place. I would book it again IF they did a few updates. The pool was very clean, the beds were comfortable, check in was easy, but I felt like the owners don't check on the property often.
Upon arrival, we noticed the space wasn't cleaned very well or restocked. We weren't provided fresh rolls of toilet paper, paper towels or extra tissue or cleaning supplies (dish washer pods, a broom, etc), despite being asked to start the dishwasher at check out. The shower lining was very dirty, as were the oven mitts or the stove, some dishes had food residue.
We were told there would be cooking oil and pot and pans but the oil was expired and the pots were dirty.
This is always a pet-peeve of mine with Vrbo because they make us clean and charge a cleaning fee.
I'll give them credit because when we reached out to the building contact she came over and apologized for the lack of cleaning and brought us extra cleaning supplies and toiletries and was just generally a pleasure and kind person.
However, she was unable to replace the dirty items (oven mitt and linear) before the end of our stay. So we had to wash them ourselves. I would've given the place 4/5 if the items were bought before we left.
We might have just caught them on an off weekend.
