Our first time in Galveston and at By the Sea. Check in was easy and seamless. Instructions emailed prior were clear and easy to follow. Loved the view of the gulf and the outside seating to just watch the water and the people. The unit was clean and we had no issues. Great place and a great stay!

Property as described; amazing gulf view, squeaky clean, with ample cookware, dinnerware and glassware. Consumables not so ample, i.e., one partial roll of paper towels, two partial rolls of tp in hall bathroom, two pods for dishwasher, 2 bath, 1 hand, 2 washcloths for 2 persons for 5 nights in beachview bedroom. Called contact to request kitchen and bath towel refresh, additional tp, and dishwasher detergent, but received no response. Purchased tp, paper towels, napkins and dishwasher pods. Washed kitchen and bath towels. Emailed contact about wifi access, again, no response.
Caution: beach is across four lanes of Seawall Blvd, with heavy traffic at 40+mph; no pedestrian crossing for blocks.

Very comfortable, well appointed and stocked condo. Pretty much everything you could possibly want is there, including thoughtful beach towels. We were there during Francine and had a “down day” of just hanging inside. We weren't able to log into our own premium cable networks so take DVDs if you may want to watch a movie during your stay, but not a deal breaker. We will be back near year!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very quick access to the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay. It was clean and everything was in order.
