The house was great and we had a fantastic stay! I rent vacation homes like this at least 6 times per year, this was one of the cleanest and most thoughtfully appointed homes I’ve ever booked.
The kitchen was very well stocked with nearly everything you could need. Plenty of towels for teen girls and pool time. Just well done at every turn.
The pool had a whole storage chest full of fun pool goodies and was really beautifully done.
Location was great: shops and restaurants close and access to beaches, etc was reasonable.
The property manager was fast, responsive and very kind/helpful. Easy 5 stars, place was great!

Some negatives: We did wish the north-facing pool was heated. We found parking in the driveway a bit challenging for more than two vehicles in a neighborhood where you can’t park on the street. This was only an issue when great-grandma came for a visit. The garage door, which is metal, painted black, and south-facing, gets really hot inside the garage. We were there in February so watch any little hands out there during the hotter months. Polyester(?) sheets resulted in a sweaty sleep for us. I would recommend a small table/cart by the tub to place items on while enjoying a soak. We just put one of the bar stools next to the tub and that worked fine.
Positives: Everything was as described, labeled, super clean, and beautifully staged for our arrival. Lacosta was super responsive. First Watch is a few blocks away and amazing. Beds were comfy. Home is new and everything works and has little wear. The beach supplies made our trip to Sanibel with four grandchildren easy. The toiletries were nice to have. Target is close by for shopping. The burrowing owls in the immediate area are super cute!

From the moment we walked through the door to find a personal welcome greeting with a basket of snacks, and the looking around the home, we couldn't have been more enamoured.The house is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need and doe to a high standard. The pool was fantastic, with a net for pool volleyball and a storage box of pool toys. The garage had games including air hockey, table tennis and jenga, as well as chairs, trolley, cool box and an umbrella for beach days. Lacosta the property manager was fantastic and dealt with our very minor issue, both quickly and professionally. Overall this villa exceeded all our expectations and after having stayed in quite a number of villas in Florida, I didn't think any could give quite this wow factor. I would most definitely stay here again
