We booked because of the lovely yard and our plans to play in the water with our 1 and 3 year old grandchildren. The house was appealing, kitchen well appointed and the yard is lovely and as pictured. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the extras like high chair, few toys for the kids, the patio furniture and the fire pit. HOWEVER as lovely as it is the POOL AND HOT TUB WERE NOT USEABLE. The POOL is NOT HEATED and is absolutely freezing despite the hot temperatures outside. (end of March). When we asked for it to be we were told it would be $500 USD for our 4 night/3 day stay which was just too unreasonable. The owners said they do not advertise it as such so be careful when you book. Perhaps it gets warm enough on its own in the immense heat in the summer months? Without exaggeration, the pool was colder than the lake itself and we were never able to swim in it as a result. Super disappointing given this is why we booked this particular property. FURTHER - the HOT TUB DID NOT WORK THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE!!!! For the most part, the breaker kept tripping off and as soon as it was reset would just go off again with the exception of a couple of times when we were able to get it to stay on for a short while. It would stay on and allow the hot tub to heat a bit but as soon as the water got hot or the jets were turned on at all it would immediately flick off. As a result we never spent anytime in here either. (Again a huge disappointment and ruination of our plans with our grandchildren). We ended up leaving the property and going to a resort my sister was staying at and swimming with them there instead. The adults were able to enjoy the fire pit in the evenings but that was the extent of the yard usage which is again why we chose this house. I will say that Trisha the property manager was lovely to work with and very prompt to respond. She tried her best to resolve things but we left frustrated. If the pool and hot tub had been useable/swimmable I would give this place a 5 rating but given that the yard is the first picture to pop up in the listing (ie. it is their drawing card for the property) I would say overall we would rate our stay a 3.5 - but I am unable to chose such on this page.

The home was lovely however the pool lights did not work so at night we were swimming in the dark. Also there was no Manual at the property.
The property manager was pleasant and prompt to respond.
