We had an amazing stay at the Sunset View Home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We loved seeing the chickens and farm cats and dog each day. The house was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed driving around and seeing all of the farms and exploring Smithville Lake and its trails.

Having come from a bustling city, and visiting family in the area who also reside in a bustling city, this was the perfect place to go home and relax at the end of each day. The apartment was even more pleasant in person. It was a treat seeing all the animals roaming around on the property! The owners were extremely hospitable and communicative. They made sure we were always comfortable and wanted to make sure we had anything that we could have needed. The location was great as well - in a very quiet area but not too far of a drive from the city. This is somewhere we would absolutely stay again whenever we're back in the area!

Loved every second of this place! Perfect for a couple and a small family! The people that run it are the nicest people ever! They are so friendly, have a pup named Piper! She was a sweetheart! Lots of land to explore and close enough to the city! Away from the big city and the drive to and from is awesome! I’ll definitely be back and come there again the day I come back!

Myself and 2 other ladies gathered here for a long weekend retreat and we couldn't have been happier with our chose to stay at Sunset View home!
The decor was tasteful, welcoming, and homey! We loved the view of stars in the night sky and a wide welcome of morning sunrise!
The shower is very small and was our only slight downside, but everything else including the landlords were a true delight. Cozy beds and well prepared kitchen, extra bedding, and towels.
It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return!
