It is a perfect place for a small family or group of friends. Everything was clean and in great shape. Brooke is an amazing host and available for questions at any time. The welcome note and gift were a pleasant surprise and enjoyed. We brought our small boat down to troll the cove for fishing and my boys were in their happy place. We had some friends staying at a hotel come over to hang out on the dock to fish and swim. It even allowed us to be outside in the rain with the coverage of the dock. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back. Thank you Brooke!

We stayed here last year and came back and were not disappointed this time either. Josh is very kind and helpful if needed. The location is great. Lakefront with multiple decks and a couple doors from renting jet skis from Josh at the getaway. We did 4 times. He took very good care of us. The fees with evolve seem high in some aspects but that’s no reflection on the owners.

My wife and I had booked a place starting aug. 20-28 but when we arrived it was not close to being acceptable to stay in: dirty, musty smell, mold all over the deck and stairs, broken blinds, etc. supposed to have been a premier host on vrbo. We came from Ohio.
We decided to rent a jet ski at the getaway and figure it out. Josh is the owner and we started talking about our situation and he said he owns the property right next to the business and people just moved out and the next ones weren't coming until Friday. He offered it to us for what we were paying at the other place but his was remodeled 3 months ago and also right on the lake. He got the cleaning crew in right away and it is a beautiful place. He and Brooke made sure our stay was pleasurable providing any help we asked for: restaurants, renting a pontoon boat even when they were closed, since we rented the house. They are very kind and pleasant to deal with and professional. We highly recommend them, their home and The Getaway for watercraft rental. they were also the cheapest and had new, newer boats.
Our stay could not have been better. They saved our vacation.
