This cozy cottage definitely lives up to its title! It is absolutely the perfect place for a private getaway. Very homey atmosphere with thoughtful touches from the owners. Close proximity to much of the areas activities such as hiking through the redwood trails, spotting elk herds, and a short drive to beach access. Loved our stay...we will be back!

This was a great place to hang with my family of 4 when not enjoying the outdoors. We did have 2 minor hiccups that just were out of the control of the host. The beds are very comfortable and the basic kitchen needs are all there with a few unexpected extras (coffee additives and condiments in the fridge).
Frisco the dog was a very pleasant surprise.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the little blue house. It is decorated very nicely and quite functional. The location in Orick was great for all the hikes we wanted to do. Ed and Sherry were friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay for us. Outstanding cottage and location. Thank you!!

We were amazed of how clean and well kept the place was. They were very thoughtful in leaving delicious fresh home made bread, butter, water bottles, coffee, and tea. The towels were high quality.
