Drove my family of 8 out to Phoenix for the Final Four and we LOVED this house! Plenty of room for my family. 2 kids slept on the queen beds in each of the smaller bedrooms and my wife and I took the king bed in the master bedroom. Our baby slept in a pack and play that we brought, and my teenage son slept on the sofa pullout.
The house was great, and the neighborhood was quaint and out of the city. Gold Canyon is west of Phoenix, so it is about a 40-45 minute drive to Phoenix, but Mesa was just 15-20 minutes away. If you've ever been to Phoenix, it's so expansive that everything is a 45 minute drive, so we knew that going in and didn't mind it at all. We took one day and made the 4 hour drive up to the Grand Canyon too!
Loved the backyard with the fire pit on the porch! And we were able to enjoy the solar eclipse from the backyard too! Just a word of warning though for people not from the area....don't walk around in the back without shoes on....cactus needles are NOT fun in the foot! (This was no fault of the owner or property btw)
Loved our stay and seriously will likely visit again soon. We loved the Gold Canyon area!
