From the moment we drove into the winding roads of this adventure destination, we knew our stay was going to be magical.....and indeed it was! The well manicured exterior of the house impressed us at first, but then we stepped inside and WOW! A beautifully open floor plan welcomed us and our three kids. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need and then some.....wine fridge, coffee pot, amazing range, and fully stocked cabinets. The living and dining area are spacious with plenty of room to eat, play games, watch the big screen or do a puzzle. The screened in porch with gas firepit was perfect for night time talks and ghost stories. The primary suite is furnished with a bed that feels like you are floating on a cloud with a spacious bathroom. Our oldest child decided she wanted her own bedroom upstairs which was perfect as it offered her some quiet privacy. The younger kids loved the bunk room downstairs so they could stay up late and watch TV or play pool and ping pong. We ended most nights sitting by the huge firepit outside and had plenty of chopped wood nearby. Our days were filled with hiking the beautiful green trails to the waterfalls, playing putt-putt, fishing in the pond in the backyard, playing pickleball at the "clubhouse" and exploring the nearby towns. My family made such good memories here and we will definitely return sometime soon.....hopefully for one of the outdoor concerts in the fall!
