We found out pretty fast that the locals refer to the house as “ The Chicken Coop House”. We found that quite fitting as the property does have a big one on the side. Truthfully, we were a bit disappointed at first seeing the house, but after nearly a week’s stay we all fell inlove with the house, Marble and the locals!!!!!!
Yes, only having one bathroom , and it being upstairs is a minor disappointment. I must say that the home is really well insulated, we did get to use the gas fireplace as we experienced their first snow. It was great, be sure to go up to the Marble quarry as the views are spectacular after a snow.
Discovering the waterfall was enchanting! It’s a good easy 3 mile walk… There is a surprise awaiting……
The Slow Grooving Bar b que really is as good as the reviews and the staff are a hoot!!!!
All and all by the end of our stay we were smitten by the house, which is very well appointed and stocked. You are embraced by such a homey feeling!!!!!! We enjoyed the whole experience!!!

This past week, I had the pleasure of staying at the stunning custom wooden home in Marble, CO, and it was nothing short of a dream. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this home offers an unparalleled blend of comfort, elegance, and breathtaking views.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the home's unique charm. The wooden architecture exudes a rustic yet sophisticated aesthetic that harmoniously blends with the surrounding natural beauty. The craftsmanship is evident in every corner, from the intricate woodwork to the thoughtful layout.
The interior of the home is equally impressive. The spacious living area, adorned with cozy furnishings and a warm fireplace, immediately invites relaxation. The kitchen is fully equipped, making meal preparation a joy, especially with the added bonus of mountain views from the window.
The bedrooms are a haven of tranquility, offering plush beds that ensure a restful night's sleep. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the mountains was an experience I will cherish.
But the real gem of this home is its location. The panoramic mountain views are simply awe-inspiring. Whether I was sipping my morning coffee on the deck or stargazing at night, the serene beauty of the landscape was a constant source of joy.
The home's proximity to hiking trails and outdoor activities was another highlight of my stay. It was the perfect base for exploring the natural wonders of Marble, CO.
In conclusion, my weekend at this place was an unforgettable experience. It offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an adventurous getaway, this home is a perfect choice. I look forward to returning soon.

We found this new place to be the most well-appointed and supplied short-term rental we've ever booked: lovely art on the walls, a well-equipped kitchen (truly above and beyond), very comfortable furnishings, linens, and so forth -- fine design and decoration throughout. A deep, wide porch faces east and south across the narrow valley with stunning mountain views in both morning and evening light. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds divebomb each other, competing for the feeder. Excellent technology -- including strong Wifi -- and though we didn't use it -- a nice TV room with a new 'smart TV.' There's an easy-to-use Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen. Very clear instructions and guidance, as well as excellent communication before and during our stay: We locked ourselves out one evening but our guest contact -- Amber, the owner -- replied very quickly with a perfect solution, which I won't reveal here! The second floor has two large bedrooms, with ceiling fans, and much closet space; the nicely decorated bathroom has twin sinks and an excellent shower. Marble is a very small, unique town with a mellow vibe: quiet, casual, off the beaten trail, for sure. If you're looking for the crowds and glitz of Aspen or the I-70 corridor, this is not your place! If you go midsummer, see if the Marble Symposium is happening -- a gathering of 35-50 marble sculptors working under tents on marble largely donated by the nearby quarry. They're happy to have folks wander around and discuss what they are working on. Truly amazing. Visit Slow Groovin BBQ (the only restaurant in town) for the very best cornbread in the world! (The meat's good, too!) Wander through historic Redstone (30 minutes down the valley), and try excellent Detroit-style pizza at Propaganda Pie. We also really enjoyed riding our bikes up the Rio Grande Trail from Carbondale towards Aspen and back. Glenwood Springs is an hour away, if that appeals. We loved our stay, and we will certainly be back!

Kinda over the top in labeling everything thing. Had mice in the kitchen. Sent email no response. Would not stay here again
