Stayed here for conference at Silver Cloud (?) hote on the water. easy walk to waterside park and stores (uphill on the way back) Loved the thought and curation that went into decor - incredibly cute and kitschy - but still comfy! Loved it - highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! When we first walked through the door we stopped because there was music playing. It was 1940's music and just brought a smile to our faces and then looking around it was 1940's. Our first house was built in 1943 and we recognized a number of things from the glass door knobs to the heat vents. My grandma and my mom both had apple cookie jars, table and chairs just like the kitchen in the retro-style house. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood, amazing remodel back to the 1940's with some glam but with high tech features like smart tv, dishwasher, washer, dryer, blue-tooth radio and internet. It was a very comfortable, relaxing stay and we plan to stay here again.
Ruston is surrounded by Tacoma with the Puget Sound on one side which makes it accessible to the city but still has a small town feel, close distances to shopping and restaurants and around the corner from Point Defiance Park.

An amazing house. As soon as you open the door it brings you into the 1940's era, yet all the furniture and amenities are comfortable and modern. The house was located in a nice and quiet neighberhood as well, just 1 minute walk away from a great breakfast spot. Overall, an A+ experience...

What a wonderful little house! So clean and well kept. It felt like staying at my grandmothers house. It was a surprise house for our soon to be daughter in law and our son who is in the army. We all had a great stay. We will be back! Thank you!
