I do not usually give a 5 on anything I review because there is always room for improvement, but this little place was absolutely awesome!
I have stayed in the best of accommodations, and the worst, and I must say this place made us so happy when we walked through the door.
From the outside your like noway, not because its ugly, but because its small, and then you open the door to the warmest, most cozy room. Kitchen fully functional to prepare a meal, bathroom ready for you to take a hot shower, and the most comfortable cozy bed.
It did not even cross my mind about cleanliness because it was absolutely obvious it was well kept.
The small touches where amazing and the simplicity was luxurious!
Contracting the accommodation was hassle free, and the owner was quick and friendly to answer any questions.
It was in the country away from town, but close enough for anything you need.
If we are in this area again, this is absolutely my go to.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay. We were not to crazy about the compost toilet however, but it was fine. Check in was a breeze, the place looked just like the photos, and it was very clean and quiet. I would have liked a curtain over the kitchen window to keep out the light in order to sleep in, but that was an easy fix while I was there. The location to downtown Rutherfordton was close and also to Shelby and Forest City. I would definitely stay again and we are already planning the next trip.
