We had a wonderful weekend visiting our Hokie student in a comfortable home that suited our needs.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is on a quiet street and large lot-- we even noticed deer passing through each morning behind the house. It is conveniently located to everything you'd need in the Blacksburg area, and a short drive to Fairlawn and Radford.
Since we planned on cooking most meals and doing some holiday baking, I brought a few cooking utensils and an Instant Pot with us. Otherwise, the kitchen was stocked with everything else we needed for a short term rental.
The basement adds a great amount of space to spread out or cozy up for a movie. We especially appreciated the playground right outside the kitchen! Adults can sit under the carport or on the firepit patio while the kids play.
A vacuum and broom/dustpan were accessible to guests which was nice so we could tidy up as needed. The coat closet and pantry are not accessible to guests but there is counter and cabinet space to store pantry items during your stay.

We stayed at Drillfield Dreamin' for graduation weekend. Easy keyless entry, great communication from the owners, clean house, flat backyard, and plenty of space. The basement has a large area to hang out and a fun coffee area with microwave and mini fridge. It is a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from the edge of campus. Moon Hollow Brewery is right around the corner. Would stay there again!

It suited our needs perfectly, sleeps 10 comfortably, well kept and clean, the 3 bathrooms were nice to have. It was close to Virginia Tech, as we were visiting our daughter who is a junior there. The neighborhood was quiet also.
