    Just 10minutes away from the pier and 3 minutes from Sai Kaew Beach lies Baan Mulan. Next door there are two of the three 7elevens on the island - there are always people around. Nevertheless we didn't hear them in our room. We also didn't hear the construction work that was going on directly infront of the hotel. What we did hear were the outside AC units from the hotel next door - I needed earplugs to sleep for sure, but if you don't mind that: the staff is superfriendly, the room is clean (and gets cleaned daily if you so please), the shower is hot and I don't think that you can get more central than in this hotel. Given the fact it was one of the cheaper hotels on the island, I'd totally recommend it to anyone wants to save a few bucks and doesn't mind some noise and a shaky WiFi.
