Hello from Korea~:) The place was super clean and cozy — honestly couldn’t ask for more. Just a short walk to the Acropolis. Eva, the host, was so kind and always ready to help with anything. I’ve already told my friends who are planning a trip to Greece about this place, and I’d happily recommend this place to anyone reading this. You definitely won’t regret staying here. If I come back to Athens, I’ll choose Hercules again without a second thought. Thanks a lot, Eva!

Three couples stayed in three bedrooms. The rooms were very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location was great, in a quiet neighborhood. The metro station was only a 7–8 minute walk away, and major tourist attractions were just 15–20 minutes on foot. Definitely a place I’d recommend to others.

The property was very clean and spacious for a studio! You have the option to cook there and plenty of storage for clothes. The instructions to enter the building were very clear and the property manager always responded promptly. The local was great as it was more quiet from the center, however you could easily take the metro/bus which was only about a 10-12 minute walk. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful roomy residence with a well supplied kitchen. Communication with the owner was excellent and she responded quickly to our messages and brought extra garbage bags when asked.. Lots of outlets, quick walk to markets and bus stops, comfortable bed, excellent shower. There are free laundry facilities on the lower floor. Any street noise wasn't bothersome at all. Would stay here again.

Very good place to stay at. I highly recommend it. Stayed in a two bedroom flat with my family. Clean. Walking distance to grocery stores and everything you need. Safe and quiet. Next time i go to Athens will stay there again. 5 star in my opinion and we travel a lot.

Property was perfect for our needs during our stay in Athens and placed us in a quiet area that we could still walk to the main attractions / areas. Although we didn’t cook the Kitchen had lots of appliances and ample utensils — could have used a pair of scissors. AC worked well and was very appreciative during our August visit. Bed situation was a bit tricky to get in/ out and make, but overall our stay was great. Hosts were amazing and replied quickly to any request we had. Great good recommendations as well!

Our stay was very pleasant. We are amazed with the cleanliness, location is close to all amenities. Walking distance to sight seeing. Everything we need for our comfort was there. Train station, downtown, Acropolis the ruins and the Museum waa a walking distance for us. We highly recommend the Hercules Residence..

We enjoyed the unit and felt the place was clean and comfortable. It isn’t in the hustle and bustle, which meant we could always find street parking, and was only a short uber ride from the main attractions. It may take a bit to secure an uber if you’re there during peak(hot) tourist season, but with our group, we needed the convenience of uber so we didn’t have to find parking in city center. The gym and playground downstairs were nice extra features but the outdoor space wasn’t as pictured. No cushions or hanging seat and the hanging pots weren’t maintained. We really only used it to hang laundry which was unfortunate because I thought it would be a nice oasis in the morning/evening. Our host was amazing with communication! Loved the coffee shop Ubuntu and bakery Oliver’s that were walking distance.

I have the impression that a couple of years ago (perhaps around 2020), the owner made a huge investment in the rooms, but since then, no maintenance has been carried out. In my studio, a lot of things were broken and/or not functioning properly: 1) the glass box in the wash was not closing properly (making the water spill out to the bathroom floor); 2) one handle in the box was broken; 3) hangers in the bathroom were loose; 4) the lid for the batteries in the remote control was sloppily glued with a sticky black tape; 5) the mechanism that should allow the TV to go around the living room and bedroom was loose and could not stand still in any of the rooms. It was clear that all of these issues were not new - most of them were clearly old, but they were never fixed. I reported the issues and they offered to send someone to take a look, but when on a vacation (AND WHEN YOU CHOOSE A HIGHLY RATED PROPERTY), you expect the room to be neat and functional and not to make your vacation around a day/time that the “handyman" can come over to fix problems that never should be there in the first place. The high rating seems to derive from the "golden era" of this property, which seems to be sloppily managed nowadays, unfortunately. However, the location is very good and the neighbourhood has a lot of restaurants and stores, very close to the metro station as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Hercules Residence! The location was convenient and close to the metro and delicious restaurants. The unit was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Eva was an excellent host and answered all of our questions and gave us wonderful recommendations. It made our stay in Athens so memorable.

The property was spacious, clean and in a great location. About a mile from the Parthenon and Acropolis and close to great food. The communication with our host Eva was seemless. This was my second time staying at Hercules Residence and plan on coming back. Felt like home!

We stayed there for a couple of nights. The place is amazing. The apartment is clean, modern and well maintain. It has a large balcony with nice overlook. There are a couple of grocery stores and amazing bakeries around. The place is walkable to the acropolis and also easily accessible by Ubers and taxis. The communication with the management team was flawless. They answered my questions on WhatsApp all the time immediately

The property was exactly as shown in the photos. There were lots of washrooms and showers for the 7 of us. Nothing is provided other than some salt & instant coffee so make sure you get coffee filters, cooking oil etc. We felt super safe in the building. The area was safe to walk around as well. There are a couple of grocery stores and lots of restaurants within 10-15 min walk. Would absolutely recommend this property.

This property is extremely well kept and clean. We were surprised to see that the room came with all the detailed amenities such as an oven, toaster, stovetop as well as basic condiments for cooking. The bed and sofa were very comfortable and it felt like we were staying in our home away from home. Communication with the staff was quick and efficient. If I returned to Greece, I would stay here again.

We would give 5/5 but it will be 4/5 due to following: The overall experience was very good, we enjoyed the big rooms, toilets, balconies, location and everything was fresh and ready to use. What we would like to inform is that we did not have any vacuum cleaner, mop, or brush, to clean the floors with. This was VERY necessary during our stay, we was there for 5 days. We were not able to clean the floors or the apartment while we lived there, and no cleaner came. Overall, it was a really good place, however the lack of cleaning utilities made it very difficult to live in a clean type of environment. BR Milad

Nice, safe and clean apartment to stay. It’s 15 min walking distance from Acropolis. It even has kids play ground, I love that! I like the balcony too. If you are using the dyer machines, please don’t expect it to try your clothes completely. You will need to hang it to try. It took me a while to figure it out.

This was a great little apartment, comfortable, clean and well laid out. 8 mins walk to Gazi and 20mins to city centre. I chose it for the contactless check in as I was arriving at 2am in the morning Communication with Eva was seamless for check in I’ll be back!

Close to the metro station and coffee shops. It is a renovated building with a gym, laundry and an elevator. We enjoyed the balcony. Apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for 5-6 people. We have enjoyed our stay. Easy check in and check out, as well.

The apartment was lovely, modern, well laid out and decorated. The host was good at communicating with local info and checking in details. It was lacking in kitchen utensils, including no corkscrew. The loo roll holder wasn’t on properly and the roll just falls off. The low shower head holder needs refixing. As you can’t flush toilet paper, it would’ve been good to have spare bin bags. There’s a new cafe, Bistro 6, that recently opened around the corner which was lovely for breakfast. Good restaurants for dinner we founder were a 10min walk away. It was well located for all historic sites.

Very conveniently located, close to the metro and we were able to walk to the Acropolis. Eva was very communicative and sent suggestions and information about the surrounding area. The room was very nice and the balcony was incredible. The only downside was the neighborhood was dirty but as Athens is a city it’s to be expected

Great spot in Athens! Clean, comfy place. AC worked great - saved us from the heat! Loved chilling on the balcony. Having a gym was awesome for keeping up workouts. Best part? Property was clean and good amenities. Be prepared to wash your towels as you are only given 2. Also pick up toilet paper and trash bags as you are only given 1 of each. Close to markets, a cute bakery and short walk to lots of restaurants and activities.
