I did a week Birthday trip to the Amalfi coast and Sorrento was my first stop during my trip. Emilia was super helpful and made my stay very comfortable, easy and convenient. Check- in was quick and simple. She setup the Vespa rentals for me and my sister, got us booked on a private Boat day tour to Capri, and had our transportation set when we left to head to Amalfi.
The location is convenient. Right down the hill from the hotel you can catch the bus to Sorrento which is only like a 5 minute ride to the center or you can walk to the train station which is only about a 10 minute walk but we mainly took the bus because it was closer and quicker honestly. Bus was only 1.50 euros per person and yes, you can pay the driver when you step on the bus and he will give you change if you have larger bills.
Definitely will be staying here again if I’m back in Sorrento 10/10

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Il Palmento Relais. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good each day. The area is nice and quiet just outside of Sorrento without the high prices. We will definitely be back.
We also ate at the restaurant on two nights and both nights it was excellent. Guests receive a 10% discount at the restaurant so it's definitely worth trying.

We had a wonderful memorable stay. We stayed for 10 days and room was kept clean everyday. From the moment we arrived we were thoroughly assisted, even went out of her way to contact someone at the airport since we had lost a cellphone which we eventually found back at the airport thankfully due to some honest people in Italy. The grounds are small but beautifully maintained and restaurant had delicious food. Only thing I’d say is if you want to take the bus to Positano or Amalfi, you are better off walking 15 minutes to train station a few stops to Sorrento where the first stop of buses heading there are and buy 2 way tickets, since fully packed buses won’t stop in the area of Piano di Sorrento and make sure to have internet access on your phone to use google maps.
