Newly constructed (July 2024) charming home with lake views on the east shore of Grand Isle. Step out your front door and enjoy a walk, run or bike ride along the quiet picturesque road that winds along Lake Champlain. This newly built year round one bedroom home has been thoughtfully designed to take advantage of the lovely lake views just across the road . A beautiful full glass door welcomes you to the open living, kitchen, and dining, with shiplap walls, vaulted ceilings and an abundance of windows to take in the views. The fully equipped kitchen offers beautiful quartz counter tops, a retro SMEG fridge as well as a stainless steel range, hood, and dishwasher. Enjoy meals at the custom corner bench dining nook while taking in views of the lake, gardens and blue stone patio. The 7" wide warm white oak hardwood floors, open pine wood shelving in the kitchen and custom barn door dining table add warmth and character to this fresh all white interior. The living room is outfitted with HD TV, DVR, premium stations, and a sound bar to connect and listen with ease. The mini split will keep the room temperature comfortable year round supplying heat and air conditioning as well as an electric wood stove to cozy up to on chilly days. The bright and airy bedroom includes a queen bed complimented with luxury 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and white eucalyptus fabric cloud down comforter. No need for a dresser with the large custom closet finished with all the shelves, hangers and drawers needed to unpack and stay organized during your stay. Just across the small hall is a 3/4 bath with a walk in tiled shower, marble top vanity with drawers, tile floors and an all in one washer and dryer. Come and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and small town charm of the Champlain Islands! Includes a 5 x 7 lockable cedar storage shed with beach chairs, cooler and room for bikes and extra gear. The location is great. The Cottage was clean and had everything we could wish for and the personal touches of the host are wonderful. Lake Champlain viewed from the windows is just some 150 yards away. The traffic on East Shore N was minimal and perfect for the biking we enjoyed.

The views from the windows are breathtaking—one view of the lake and the other of rolling fields. You wouldn't think to see farms all around the lake, but it's absolutely beautiful just keep the windows closed or you will smell the manure at times.
The cottage looks small but with the high ceilings and windows, it's very open. I just wish there was a ceiling fan and TV in the bedroom, but it was overall a great stay.
