The Olive Motel is perfect for folks travelling up through the Coromandel Peninsula. David welcomed us with an immaculately presented unit, homely feel and spotlessly, sparkling clean! The Olive Motel is a very short 2 min walk into the quaint town, lovely pubs, restaurants, fantastic grocery store, and some beautiful artsy shops.
Our unit had a very comfortable bed, a great little kitchen, wonderfully big bathroom (excellent shower pressure!) There are laundry facilities which are spotless, and an added bonus when on the road with the family. If you’re headed to Coromandel Town, a stop here will be well worth it :)

Room was exceptionally clean and tidy, shower pressure was amazing and the bed super comfortable. would stay again.

It was a good motel in terms of cleanliness and location but the owner was a bit unapproachable to deal with.
It is just the owner at site and no other staff so you would always need to interact with him for any issue.
