The accommodation:
Villa Echynops is located on the front line, just behind the dune. An ideal location to soak up the oceanic atmosphere of the Atlantic coast. From your rooms, you will have the privilege of hearing the harmonious sound of the waves and cicadas.
It is one of the oldest and most remarkable villas in Canaulaise style, with a romantic and poetic silhouette, thanks to the great respect for its original architecture. You will stay in a period villa and appreciate its distinguished character.
It benefits from a large garden for strolling, playing, sunbathing. At the bottom of the garden, the path to the beach awaits you, the ocean is a 3-minute walk away.
The garden has a large terrace, which can be sheltered if necessary, as a common living room in the continuity of the villa. A large dining table can accommodate your family meals.
When you return from the beach, you will benefit from a pleasant outdoor shower. Also, we provide you with six bicycles to get around and discover the region.
You will benefit from the complete accommodation, with the large main villa. The house benefits from an outbuilding for large groups (to be requested when booking). The outbuilding, a small master suite equipped with a queen size bed, a bathroom area with shower, water point, wardrobe and toilet.
The kitchen opens onto the terrace, it is fully equipped and opens to the outside thanks to its sash windows, for convivial and pleasant meals.
On the first floor, the villa is restored as it was originally, in the architectural style typical of villas in the area. Characterized by high ceilings (4 meters), refined architecture, attention to aesthetic details, and medium-sized, cozy and romantic rooms.
The spaces are carefully appointed for a comfortable stay. You will find a laundry room, with washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and pantry. Then the living/dining room, a cosy space near the large fireplace. A charming veranda follows this space, in which you can bask in the sun or by its small wood stove when the weather is gloomy.
This first floor has two bedrooms. The first is a master bedroom with a large queen-size bed as well as a beautiful upright piano for music lovers.
The second bedroom has a large queen-size bed, and two single bunk beds.
A bathroom with shower and bidet completes the rooms on the first floor.
Upstairs, a first room has a large king-size bed on tatami mats. The second room is a cosy and warm dormitory, with 2 single beds, a double bed and a sofa bed.
Please note: To benefit from the annex of the villa, please report it in advance because of a large group!
The villa is located in a quiet and serene area, which gets a little more agitated in summer, with the arrival of holidaymakers. You will therefore find a summer atmosphere, of surfers, families and couples enjoying the sunny days.
